My name is Patch. I know my name is obvious. I am covered in glorious spots. I am a registered appaloosa, bred by Kate and born in 1994. My father was classic hunter from the Manniototo in central Otago. My mother was Bella and her father is the famous Wyalta warbird. I am named Classic warbird. But you know really I am just an eating horse. I love to eat, and I don't like trouble and I am a wonderful ride, very strong, and sure footed. I am very talented and beautiful like my late brother, Native Warbird or Birdie. Some of you know me from Otahuna. I have come back up to Mt Lyford to see all my mountain buddies now that Otahuna was closed down after the earthquakes. Good to be back in the mountains.
