Mt Lyford Lodge built in 2002
This ride is an easy hour ride over a grassy hill block, called the Sonya's block.
It is situated on the other side of the Gully from the Horse Trekking Base, and takes in superb views of the new Mt Lyford Lodge. We cross the gully along a track, which has a short but steep climb out of the gully, then ride down and up a ridge to a look out point, where we stop for photos before following a farm track around the hillside, and back across the Gully. The ride is situated on Snowden, and has picturesque views of the bush covered countryside. This ride is subject to dry conditions.
