I am the biggest. I was born in this area. I am a classic heavy stock horse half clydesdale and half St. James. Many of the high country horses throughout New Zealand are bred similarly to me, and I am ideal for high country horse trekking, so come and ride me. My mother was the St James side. St James horses are almost a breed unto their own. St James is a high country station, that has wild horses running on it. Every two years the wild horses are rounded up, and sold. St James make wonderful hunters, stock horses, and riding horses. I have the characteristic almond shaped eye of the St James breed. Look how grand and big I am, but a real softie.
