Over the years I have developed a stunning 4 day ride from Mt Lyford to Hanmer Springs and return over mainly different trails, all off road, criss crossing the Amuri Range. The trail remains the same and the accommodation along the way may vary according to your preference. We have three options for accommodation:

I have a popular overnight ride to the Lottery River,
All overnight treks begin with a half day warm up session the day before.

Weekends for Adults, Women, Mother's & Daughters.
Riding weekends (Friday night to Sunday Afternoon ) offer a combination of theory, ground games, ridden games and trekking including an all day trek on Sunday. These weekends are excellent for developing many aspects of horsemanship and riding skills. These include:
- understanding horses
- building confidence and leadership with your horse
- instruction on horse care
- developing safe habits around horses
- developing riding skills
Group size 3 to 6 riders. These weekends include two nights accommodation in Pokaka, our beautiful Log Home 3 km from the trekking base, or take advantage of the range of accommodation at Mt. Lyford Lodge situated right across the road from our Horse Trekking base.
From Time to time we offer Clinics in natural horsemanship with qualified teachers such as Bryan McVicar,and Ken Faulkner from Brisbane.
